About Extreme Seminary

Our Purpose...

To collect and disseminate the experiential wisdom of clergy...
and have fun doing it!

Remember when you were fresh out of seminary, the ink hardly dry on your diploma? You get your first call either as an assistant or on your own and you thought you knew it all, 'cause it was all so fresh and new, you hadn't had time to forget any of your training yet - unlike those grizzled old pastors who caused you to think, "I can do this better than them."

Then reality hit.

And you started to learn the real work of being a pastor. Sooner or later you find yourself sitting around with your colleagues saying, "I wish they had taught me that in seminary!"

Well, this is the place where we are trying to collect and share what you wish you had learned in seminary.

To add a story or to vote for a story you have to be a member. Becoming a member is as simple as asking to be a member. We'll ask you for your name, your email address (which we don't share. Period.) and some other stuff we think we are interested in and there you go - you're in!

The more votes a story gets the more important the lesson - or so we think - and it gets promoted to the front page.

Enjoy!
